Prickly Pear is a small Opuntia, seldom reaching 12 inches in height or more than 2-3 feet across. The prickly pear cactus are actually members of the Opuntia genus and grow in the deserts.

The Prickly Pear Cactus is a bright yallowish color that obtains happyness to viewers, I think that Prickly Pear Cactus also have different colour of flowers, like red, yellow.
