This really hits home. I left the Times voluntarily over 2 years ago seeing what the future had in store and following my entrepreneurial spirit and desire to be more available for my family. I can totally empathize with the struggles of reinventing yourself and life after the LAT. I look forward to reading more over at the journalism shop.

i went to the same school as patrick. i remeber those girls from my school who wrote in. they were white trash...i always felt so bad for them.
