We know folks at one USAToday office that were let go with no warning. They went in on Monday and were told that was their last day. Yup. Just like that. It's not just the reporters who are losing their jobs, but office/admin/acct/distribution people as well.

Yes, that's true. In fact, editorial is often protected the longest of any department.
