oh the food supply issues in this country scare the H*** out of me. serious stuff. I'm trying super hard to kill off all non-whole and processed food for our family. But it's very hard when it comes to eating out.

This is SCARY stuff. Makes me hope that people will wake up and realize that companies need to be responsible for what's in their products. (I've heard some horror stories about teas made in China too.)

I'm glad I only have to feed myself, my cat and friends from time to time. I can only imagine how hard it must be to monitor everything if you have to feed a family. :(

Kate: In Arizona, it's darn near impossible, but I think Oregon is a much better place to attempt it. It was much easier when we lived in CA.

Summer: Once kids are involved, it is darned near impossible: meals at school, snacks at friends, etc. Not to mention a lot of kids -- like one of mine -- are incredibly picky eaters.
